-we make a scarpbook of the characters. Everyone (or in pairs) has a character that they right a little bio for, descritption, and what they liked about them on one page. Then decorate it.
-we watch the movie and compare the book to the movie in an essay
-we write a short creative writitng assignment pretending to be one of the characters. It can be during the book or after it, but it has to be a scene we never read and is made up (ex. minny talking to a church friend)
-we dress up as the characters and take pictures
