Project Ideas

1. The main project idea that the group talked about was to make a scrapbook for the entire book. This means we all make seperate sections of the scrapbook for different characters in the book. For example, if one of us has chosen Aibileen, we can show her relationship with her employer, Mrs. Leefolt, and her daughter, Mae Mobley. That person can also include a short biography of Aibileen's life as a child as well as how she feels about secretely working with Ms. Skeeter. We can use pictures (if needed) from Google. If everyone picks at least one character to write about, I think that this would be a great project idea.
2. Another idea I have is to put on a short play of what we think would happen next: after the story ended. We could each dress up as the character that we like the most and we can add an extra chapter by performing it. It would be about 5 minutes long. It is something that we could all do together instead of doing things seperately and putting them together in the end.
