Predictions

Based upon the story that we have read(IU read up to 12), Celia did not want to tell her husband Johnny about Minny. The first prediction that our group came up with was Johnny being abusive and that being the reason why Celia was being so scared about telling him. However, when Johnny came back to the house and saw Minny, he was complimenting Minny about the food that she was making and how it got better. From this scene, we had a turning point in our predictions. Now we predict that Celia had lost her children because she had three empty baby rooms at her house. Also, we think that she has gone through miscarrying the baby because there was a scene where Minny found blood stains on the floor. The other prediction that we have come up with was about the interviewing part where Skeeter was interviewing Aibleen. It's not a specific prediction but we felt that there was going to be problems when they publish the column with the interviewed stories in it based on the helps' perspectives. The book keeps the readers from losing interest because the readers always want to keep reading and see what happens and why it happens.
